HOW DOES IT WORK

How To Start Your Lesson Journey with Saucon Valley Music

Meet Our Staff

Our talented staff can't wait to get you underway with your music education journey here at Saucon Valley Music. Our instructors teach: guitar, voice, bass, piano, drums, violin, cello, as well as woodwinds and brass. To get started, just check in with Melody in the chat and she'll help you find the perfect teacher, day and time to meet your student's needs.

Instrument Retail & Rentals

We have a wide range of instruments available for purchase at our studio. Come in and look around during operating hours any time! You can also ask Melody for the latest inventory and pricing.

For school band and orchestra, renting can be an inexpensive and practical way to try an instrument without obligation or a purchase investment. Saucon Valley Music partners with Music & Arts Center for our band instrument rental program. Rental payments can be applied toward your purchase if you decide to buy. Our flexible exchange policy allows you to exchange your original choice for a different instrument, so you can find the right choice for your budding musician.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the service and billing.

How much do lessons cost?

Lessons have an average cost of $130 per month. Tuition is prorated depending on how many lessons occur each month (accounting for holiday closures, etc.).

What if I have to miss a lesson?

Each student gets four make-up lesson dates per calendar year. So if you miss your lesson, you can schedule a make-up time with your teacher in an available time slot and stay on track with your lesson plan.

Do I need my own instrument?

Yes, every student (with the exception of drum and piano) must bring their own instrument to class. If you don't have one yet, no worries! Saucon Valley Music has a full inventory of instruments to choose from and we also have a rental program for band/orchestra instruments.

How do I know which teacher will be best for my student?

Our online Lesson Coordinator, Melody, knows all the important details about each of our teachers. Which are best with little ones. Which have a knack for getting someone out of their shell. Which are right for the serious minded student. She will help you narrow it down to the best fit for you.

What if we decided to stop lessons?

You can pause or stop your lesson program at any time, but we do require two weeks notice to allow our teachers time to refill your lesson spot. You can give your notice to Melody right here on our website up to the 15th of each month. If you miss that deadline lessons will be billed for the forthcoming month and your lessons will complete at the end of that next month.
